Rappers out of Africa are speaking out through their music. They are leading a vigorous demonstration movement against the country’s octogenarian president. The rappers were prettty straight forward and that struck a nerve. Thiat, the rapper was actually taken to prison serving as martyrs for the antigovernment cause. Thiat stated " An old man of 90 who lies has no role in the country." This caused Mr. Wade's police to pick up Thiat and escort him to prison where he would soon be released. Fou Malade and Thiat had been leading the people through riots and such, they are trying to speak out for the poepl who have been bullied and picked on by Mr. Wade's policemen.

These riots got so bad that they force Mr. Wade to back away from any sort of constitutional changes! The people of Senegal want the current president out and a new one in!
"Though the group is based here in the capital, Dakar, where opposition parties and politicians have the most support, Y’En A Marre remains officially unaligned. Ever since the group was formed in January, its leaders have vowed that they will not be co-opted by establishment politicians from richer neighborhoods, instead sticking to their roots in the rough, working-class district of Parcelles Assainies — the name translates as “cleaned-up lots.”
