East Africa: Human Trafficing

In east Africa, human trafficking is and has been an illegal act that many Africans have been trying to force to a stop for decades.  Many organizations have made a push for religious groups to become more active in the pursuit to end this demoralizing crime.  The people of Nairobi Africa feel that churches and religious communities have been the most distant organizations when speaking of human trafficking.  Which should be the other way around, they need to be the most supportive in the destruction of this dehumanizing crime.
Worldwide, human trafficking continues to be one of the most profitable crime rings, beating out drugs and vandalism.  600,000-800,000 people are trafficked over borders in Africa, not talking about woman and children trafficked in their own countries.  It is said that in some cultures in Africa, albinos are trafficked only for witchcraft remedies.  Young men and some older women are trafficked for the use in war, and production of weapons.  It is vital that these organizations aggressively voice their concerns, and put an end to this terrible crime.
